You will want to read and take notes on the setting and role in your textbook and also find at least one scholarly peer-reviewed journal article that is not assigned in the course related to a nurse’s role in health promotion in this setting. The link to the library is also provided in the guidelines. . Search peer-reviewed journals to find a scholarly article on this topic. The article must be less than 10 years old (less than 5 years is best).   The first component of this assignment is a title page including the Running head and page number. Next, you will start this paper with an introduction that will give a brief overview of the CHN role and setting. You may choose a setting if the assigned CHN role may work in various settings. You also need to include where or how this CHN role is utilized in your community. This should include populations served. Be sure to include a purpose statement. The introduction should be one paragraph. The next section will focus on the community setting, 2-3 paragraphs is sufficient. Start by describing a practice setting for the assigned CHN role. Next you will describe the population(s) served in this setting. In the introduction you stated the populations served, in this section you will go into a more detailed description. Next, discuss three health services provided by the assigned CHN role in this setting. You may use your textbook or an outside scholarly source to address these sub-points.  The next part of the paper focuses on health promotion nursing intervention. Again, this should be two to three paragraphs. You will want to describe in detail health promotion intervention(s) of the assigned CHN role specific to the community setting identified. Then identify people/organizations/community members this CHN role may collaborate with in health promotion interventions. You will need to find an outside scholarly source for this section to support the health promotion intervention. This means at least one peer reviewed journal article discussed that clearly relates to nursing health promotion intervention. The next area of focus will be on a professional nursing organization. This area should be approximately two paragraphs. You will want to provide a detailed description of a professional nursing organization that supports nurses in this role in your own words.
