Purpose of Assignment

The purpose of this assignment is for students to learn how to apply Statistical Process Control Methods to a business process through the use of a Run Chart.

The purpose of this assignment is for students to receive Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training – Executing DMAIC (Define, Measure Analyze, Improve, Control) Six Sigma Quality Improvement (define and measure) projects.

Select a business where one of your team members works or one with which you are “ALL” familiar to make sure you are able to gather sufficient data, and for which you can identify processes to improve.

Execute the define phase of the Six Sigma DMAIC project including the following:

Execute the “analyze” phase of the Six Sigma DMAIC project including the following:

Select a business operations dataset from the internet, which can be used for forecasting what the results may be at a future state (monthly [for two years], quarterly [for five years], annually [for 20 years].
